Yeah… long story short I was jumping through this really long one stride and I asked him to stretch out to get the right striding, he did but the footing on the other side was a little bit deep and since he was on his forehand he tripped and couldn’t catch himself and we both fell down :( We were both okay, I did basically a somersault and sat up in time to see Finn get up. I got a whole bunch of sand down my pants but otherwise I was minimally dirty, but Finn looked like he did a faceplant in the sand (sand all in his noseband, browband, and forelock) and then fell on his side. Poor pony. But I honestly thought he was going to flip over on me, luckily when he faceplanted or when he fell on his side he launched me like 3 feet to the side so I was out of the way. We both got up, I patted him a lot, then we trotted around for a little to make sure he wasn’t sore or anything, which he wasn’t. I was also letting him trot around on the buckle and was just petting him on his neck. Then we jumped a single jump and did the line as single jumps so I knew he wasn’t scared of them. He wasn’t even phased by the fall, he just jumped again like it was not a big deal. He is the bravest most forgiving most trusting pony in the whole world <3 I love him.
